GREENBANK Gators Swimming Club has finished its season off in style.

On Saturday, the Gators combined their Club Championships, breakup party and presentation into a day-long swimming spectacular.
Swimmers battled it out in the pool to establish 2020-21 age champions, with some huge personal best times set and a handful of club records toppled with sizzling new times set.

A great time was had by swimmers and spectators alike, with parents and carers getting in on the action to cheer their swimmers on.
After club championships racing, swimmers enjoyed novelty racing events including gator racing' and the dash for cash, with Aoibhe Kerrigan picking up the win - and $10 - in the 50m freestyle race.
Age Champions and special award recipients were then honoured at the presentation ceremony which followed novelty racing festivities and a barbecue dinner.
Most improved senior went to Lily Whittam, while Kyla Diesing was most improved junior.
Zahra Brimble won the spirit award, and Jayda Ludke took out the encouragement.
Caoimhe Kerrigan, Sienna Doessal, William Dixon were the swim stars of the season.
Club spokeswoman Bec Head said the Gators had their most successful swim season yet, with an ever-expanding membership base and increased attendance at competitive meets across Brisbane.
"A growing number of swimmers are regularly qualifying for Brisbane and Queensland Premiership meets and also collecting medals and smashing personal best times at district and regional swim meets," Head said.
"Four of our Gators also made the Metwest Regional School swim team and competed at the Queensland School Sport Swimming Championships this year."
The club season is now finished. The club welcomes all interested swimmers to come along for a try out in the 2021-22 season.
Club commences on the first Tuesday of term 4, on October 5.
